Western Economic Diversification Awards Contract to Cogniva

SharePoint Deployment. Cogniva was mandated to develop a SharePoint-based electronic documents and records management solution for Western Economic Diversification Canada.

The two main objectives of this project were to complete most of the preparation work to determine requirements and to determine how SharePoint could be configured and deployed to fulfill requirements.

Significant efforts were be spent on building a solid foundation for the system. This was achieved through a detailed analysis of the current environment which provided us with a good understanding of the gaps, constraints, interdependencies and medium- to long-term business requirements. This SharePoint implementation ensured that the organization was compliant with GoC legislation (lifecycle management, ATIP) and also increased organizational performance, efficiency and accountability.
