Expanding Vocabularies

The ISIS Multilingual Thesaurus Service lets users attach new terms (synonyms) from different cultures and languages to values from the main ISIS model. These terms are then available to the end user both when classifying and searching for information.

Flexible Governance

Suggested synonyms are accepted or rejected through the ISIS Governance Dashboard, allowing for a more collaborative and flexible approach to information management. This provides organizations with a more democratic approach to information management while maintaining consistency.
